OUR MANIFESTO
There is power in standing united.
The power to pull ourselves up and extend a hand to someone else
And when we work united, we have the power to impact the critical problems in our community.
The ones we often don’t see or talk about at social gatherings.
The ones that seem too hard to solve.
Like Homelessness,
Hunger,
Or children left behind
With your help we find every dollar we can to address these problems.
But when we stand united, we are more than fundraisers.
We are hand raisers.
Game changers.
Stop-talking-start-doing- and-take-on-the-impossible-taskmasters.
United, we take on childhood hunger.
United, we stand up for those who want to succeed
United, we confront the barriers to living a healthy life.
No matter the obstacles. No matter the odds.
We surround this community’s most critical problems. And we fight.
We fight for Zane.
We fight for Sarah and Kaiden.
We fight for Ed and Dot.
We fight for those who need a voice and those whose names we do not know.
United Way fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community.
Because change doesn’t happen alone.
Hope isn’t a one-man band.
And there’s no such thing as self taught or self made.
We have one life.
To live better, we must Live United
